With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melanie Beth Wear of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Melanie Beth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Melanie Beth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parent Barbara Wear; her grandparents, Bernard and Esther Wear; and her aunts, Betty Naylor and Beverly Thoreson.
She is survived by: her aunts, Bonnie Jamieson, Berdyna Proctor and Belynda Simbala; and her uncle Byrl Wear. She is also survived by fourteen cousins.
