He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Rein and Betty Rein (Gaschler); his wife Rose M. Rein; his sister Carol Rixon; and his brothers-in-law, Don Uncapher, Danny Uncapher and John Rixon.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Rein (Haley) of Great Bend, Robby Rein of Great Bend and Russell Rein (Sherry) of Olathe; his adoptive son Nathan Dixon; and his siblings, Claudine Gaudet (Phil) and Ronald Rein (Janice) of Hutchinson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
