We bid farewell to Ruby Brown of Great Bend, Kansas, born in Protection, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 17, 2024 at the age of 92. Ruby touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Schultz and Emma Schultz (Reich); her spouse LaVern L. Brown; and her siblings, Joe, Virgil, Elmer, Robert Schultz, Gladys Schultz, Osie Danielson, Viola Hazen, Luella Stutzman and Goldie Anderson.

She is survived by : her children, Tom Brown (Shari) of Great Bend and Pamela Bechard (Raymond) of Lawrence; her grandchildren, Ashley Henkelman (Erik) and Brennan Bechard (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Evie, Hutch, Mason Jane, Lucy, Mack and Bo; and her brother Roy Schultz of Waxahachie, Texas..

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A rosary was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (4100 Broadway Ave, Great Bend, KS 67530).
