He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Burhenn and Bertha Burhenn (Langrehr); and his siblings, Evelyn Schartz, Louella Schwager, Flossie Dewey, Irvin Burhenn and Vernon Burhenn.
He is survived by: his children, Phillip Burhenn of Great Bend, Paul Burhenn (Mercy Causing) of Great Bend and Gayle Fanshier (Roger) of Seward; and his grandchildren, Denton Burhenn, Ben Fanshier, Travis Burhenn, Andrew Fanshier, Jacob Fanshier, Trenton Burhenn, Brock Lawrence, Alisha Mawhirter, Shelby Stites, Trai Burhenn, Justin Burhenn and Gauge Burhenn. He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren; and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated to USD 350 Athletics (to benefits St. John athletics) or Eden Valley Cemetery Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
