He was predeceased by : his wife Shelby; his parents, Arlie Waymire and Emily Waymire; and his siblings, LaDonna McFarland, Jerry Waymire and Ronnie Waymire.

He is survived by : his daughters, Rashelle R. Standley (Gary) and Mona D. Kelso (Robert); and his siblings, Linda Hamby and Steve Waymire. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downing & Lahey East Mortuary (6555 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67206). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (200 W Kansas Ave, Greensburg, KS 67054).
