He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Wells and Lela Wells (Hundley); his brother Donald Wells; and his wife Renee. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Hockenbury (Todd), Debbie Littrell (Darryl), Jeff Wells (Janelle) and Denise Liebau (Jake). He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren Numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home - Howard (206 E Washington St, Howard, KS 67349). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
