We announce the death of Charles Francis Moos of Grinnell, Kansas, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moos and Alvina Moos (Schlageck); his brother LeRoy Moos; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Schaffer and Charla Moos.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Redmond (Hargitt); his siblings, Dennis Moos, Denora Holzinger and Darlene Schaffer; his stepchildren, Lisa Redmond, Tom Redmond (Sharon) and Kelly Roberts (TShane); and his sister-in-law Joan McCormick. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church- Grinnell (308 Monroe St, Grinnell, KS 67738). A vigil service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery- Grinnell.
