She was predeceased by: her father George Edwards; her husband Clare Platt Jr.; her mother Vera Hughes Edwards; her brother Ron Edwards; her sister-in-law Darla Edwards; her aunt Zelma; her uncle Harry Lange; and her granddaughter Emily Platt.

She is survived by: her grandson Paul Platt; her stepgrandsons, Justin Allen and Nick Riggs; and her brothers-in-law, John Platt, Jim Platt and Preston Platt.
