She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Schwartz and Frances Schwartz (Meier); her son William C. Howell; her brother Jerry Schwartz; and her close friend Frank Heyna.
She is survived by: her son James Howell of Kansas City, Missouri; and her siblings, Ruth Morford, Harold Schwartz (Mary Lou), Dennis Schwartz (Sharon), David Schwartz and Allen Schwartz (Kathy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, two great-great-nieces, and one great-great-nephew.
