Karen R. Rettig Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen R. Rettig of Hanover, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Parry and Loretta Parry; her sibling Linn Parry; and her husband Ed Rettig. She is survived by: her children, Julie Jueneman (Scott) of Hanover, Ellen Yarber (Steve) of St. Peters, MO, Kent Rettig (Rhonda) of Olathe and Kurt Rettig of Overland Park; her grandchildren, Jordan Griffith (Billy), Lindsey Frerking (Jay), Trevor Jueneman (Shelby), Devin Jueneman, Chris Yarber, Katie Anderson (Josh), Ryan Yarber (Emily), Samantha Meyers (Ethan) and Sydney Turner (Trey); her brother John Parry (Vicki); and her sister-in-law Ronda Parry. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and three nieces.

In memory of Karen, the family will designate how memorial contributions will be used within the Hanover community.
