It is with sadness that the passing of Laura Jeanette Horton (Woodward, Oklahoma) is shared. Laura, born on February 19, 1964 in Larned, Kansas, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Billie Trauer. She is survived by: her mother Nancy Trauer of Hanston, Kansas; her husband Doc Horton of Woodward, Oklahoma; her siblings, Sherry Trauer of Garfield, Mike Trauer of Woodward and Susan Lemuz (Troy Perez) of Kinsley, Kansas; her nephew Bryce Perez; her daughter Crystal VanLandingham (Jenny VanLandingham); and her grandchildren, Ayanna, Amaya Moriasi and Calum McCord.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel (1621 Downs Ave, Woodward, OK 73801). A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hanston Cemetery (26705 228 Rd, Hanston, KS 67849).

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Laura to Bible Baptist Church in Woodward or Vital Caring Hospice with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
