She was predeceased by: her parents, Sim Davis and Lila Donia Brown (Bagby); her husband Starrett Lanning; her siblings, Jimmie Brown, Mike Brown and Linda Haynes; her grandchild Gaiden Crelia; her sister-in-law Laverne Brown; and her nephews, Chris Cherry and Jeremy Joe Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherrey Mostrom, Rene Coronado (Martin) and Dee Jay Stewart; her siblings, Larry Joe Brown, Tom Brown, Charlie and Laura Seals; her siblings' children, Tessa Swodeck, Eric Brown, Stephanie Brown, Jory Haynes, Darla Heider, Ashley Brown, Olin Brown, Sim Brown, Lila Brown, Nikki Brown, Katrina Kline and Patrick Halsell; her grandson Gregory Henley; and her great grandchildren, Aylah Kolb, Jordon Lynch and Ava Crelia.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (204 Logan St, Hanston, KS 67849).
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital or ASPCA both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
