Daniel Gardner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Gardner of Hartford, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ray and Emilie June Milner Gardner; his wife Virginia Lee Briles; his sister Annie Cunningham; and his grandson Owen Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, George Gardner (Sharon) of Overton, NE, Fred Gardner (Jackie), David Gardner (Nancy), Vernon Gardner of Big Springs, NE, Mary Hoover and Elizabeth Fox (Kevin); and his sister Julia George of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hartford United Methodist Church (300 College St, Hartford, KS 66854).
