Michele Ross Obituary

We announce the death of Michele Ross of Harveyville, Kansas, who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 64. Michele will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Michele will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Michele will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Michele’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Margaret Henry; and her brother Mark Henry. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Ross; her children, Megan Breiner (Chad), Grace Ross (Jacob) and Douglas Ross Jr.; her brother James Henry Jr. (Tracie); and her mother-in-law Grace Ross. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wabaunsee County Fair Association, in care of the funeral home.
