He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Mary Neale (Alan Kiviat) and Stephen Haines; his grandsons, Ethan (Molly) and Henry Neale; his brothers, Joe (Betty) and Pat Haines; and his nieces, Jennifer Robinson (Mike) and Sarah Muscolina (Chris).
The last decade of Chet's life brought heartache with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, but he never gave up hope that he would live to see a cure.
