He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Proffitt and Rocena Proffitt (Barb); and his grandson Dane Moorman. He is survived by: his brother Roger Proffitt; his friend Cheryl Proffitt; his children, Jeremy Moorman (Nicole) of Granville, IL, Joshua Proffitt (Lisa) of Haven, Stephanie Turner (Joel) of Wichita, KS and ReAnna Wolf (Ben) of Wichita, KS; and his grandchildren, Jared Moorman (Blair), Kaegan Moorman, Victoria Moorman, Cole Proffitt, Connor Proffitt, Ethan Wolf and Mattelyn Turner. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Haven Baptist Church to benefit the Youth 52 Ministry Program, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
