It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lila I. Honeycutt of Haven, Kansas, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Horst and Marie Horst (Ross); her husband Gerald Honeycutt; her siblings, Evaline Hinz, Lillie Hofferber, Vera Schriever, Verna Brandt, Robert, Alfred and Johnny Horst; and her siblings-in-law, Eldred Hinz, Eugene Walker, Myron Schriever, Donald Hofferber, Rodger Dondlinger, Marvin Honeycutt, Curtis Honeycutt, Janice Horst and Donna Lammers.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Honeycutt of Haven, KS and Joe Honeycutt (Carla) of Haven, KS.; her grandchildren, Michael Honeycutt of Haven, KS, Cody Honeycutt of Haven, KS, Kayla Sanders (Jake) of Salina, KS, Aaron Honeycutt of Haven, KS and Austin Honeycutt of Haven, KS.; her sisters, Norma Walker of Winfield, AL and Donna Genung of Deshler, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Lana Horst of Edger, NE, Marlys McClure of Nelson, NE and Mike Honeycutt Deweese (Trish).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Ott Funeral Home - Haven (102 N Wichita 102 n, Wichita, KS 67202). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Haven United Methodist Church (201 N Kansas St, Haven, KS 67543).
