She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Leonard Frakes and Margaret Lucille Frakes (Wenzl); her husband Don Charles Elder; and her siblings, Lucy Frakes, Donald Frakes and Joseph Frakes.
She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Reichart of Plattsmouth, NE, Annie Hosler of Winchester, KS, Edmund Frakes of Fremont, CA and Ralph Frakes of Albuquerque, NM; and her children, Dona Flowers (Shannon) of Havensville, KS, Edana McSweeney (Arthur), Denise Sweet (Delbert), Mary Theis (Chris), Brad Elder (Farrah) of Olathe, KS, Greg Elder (Donna), Mark Elder (Annette) and Matt Elder (Lisa). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
