Alec Waelchli Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alec Waelchli (Hays, Kansas), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alec left this world on August 3, 2025 at the age of 37, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Alec departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Alec may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Alec leaves behind.
He is survived by: his mother Jess Braun; his stepfather Curt Braun of Hays; his sisters, Isabelle, Addie and Mabel Braun; and his aunts and uncles, Terri, Scott Braun of Hays, Jeri and Doug Braun of Lenexa.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Alec's Parent's House (3232 E 27th St, Hays, KS 67601).
