He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Brungardt and Cyrilla Brungardt (Meis); his granddaughter Kirsten Brungardt; his great grandchild Hazel Ramage; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Brungardt.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria (Baier) of Hays; his children, Jeff Brungardt (Tiffany) of Sioux City, Jerold Brungardt (Amy) of Hays and Kerri Dreher (Steve) of Hutchinson; and his siblings, Lorraine Brungardt of Hays, Elmer Brungardt (Patty) of Hays, Earl Brungardt (Shirley) of Hays and Lorrinda Schmeidler (Neal) of Wichita. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
