He was predeceased by: his father Charles Nunnelee; his father-in-law Joe Klaus; and his sister-in-law Mary Klaus Grizzle. He is survived by: his mother Betty Nunnelee (Donaghey) of Fort Davis, TX; his wife Debbie; his children, Taylor (Jenna), Alexander of Concord, NC, Nicholas (Alayna), Dalton (Danielle) and Rachel (Erich Feth); his granddaughter Kiesha Nunnelee; his brothers, Chuck of Midland, TX and Mike (Leisa) of Haslet, TX.; his mother-in-law Janet Klaus of Hays; and his in-laws, Bill Klaus (Brenda), Bob Klaus (Tammy) of Hays, Karen Cederberg (Jim) of Centennial, CO and Sharon Basinger of Littleton, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
During the COVID pandemic, he was laid off work; it was during this time he took time to re-evaluate life and focus on what mattered most.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for the Unify, Beautify, Glorify Campaign or to St. Joseph Catholic Church for the Capital Campaign.
