She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Eveleigh and Leona C. Eveleigh (Muench); and her husband Larry Nicholson. She is survived by: her children, Eric Nicholson of Ames, Iowa and Jill Nicholson-Crotty (Sean) of Bloomington, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Jordan Nicholson of Iowa City, Noah Nicholson of Iowa City, Finn Nicholson-Crotty of Bloomington, Indiana. and Iris Nicholson-Crotty of Bloomington, Indiana..

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home (415 N Main St, Hoisington, KS 67544).
