It is with sadness that the passing of Charlene Staab of Hays, Kansas is shared. Charlene, born on September 5, 1938, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fisher and Adeline Fisher (Haas); her son-in-law Cameron Kerr; and her siblings, Ronnie Fisher, Norb Fisher (Sherrie), Kenny Fisher and Joan Fisher.
She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Dale Staab of Topeka, Deborah Jacobs of Port St and Diane Kerr of Oro Valley, AZ; her siblings, Marvin Fisher (Kay) of Hays, George Fisher, Jr. (Debbie) of Jacksonville, NC and Lillian Brungardt (George) of Ellis; and her sisters-in-law, Connie Fisher of Salina and Anita Dreiling of Catharine. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (1805 Vine St, Hays, KS 67601). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
