He was predeceased by: his father Kraig; and his grandfather Charlie Rogers. He is survived by: his parent Kriag Johnson; his daughter Emry of Hays; his stepfather Jackie Eakin (Shannon) of Hays; his sister Cassie Johnson of Ellis; and his grandparents, Darlene Rogers of Hays, Kay VanHouteghen of Waterford, MI and Joe Jacobs of Dodge City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to benefit Emry's education.
