He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Eddie" Neuburger and Kathleen "Kay" Neuburger (Wiesner); his wife Ruth Garza; his daughter Shelly Kay Neuburger; and his brothers, Daniel, Tom and Mark Neuburger.

He is survived by: his children, Dion Neuburger (Ashley) of Hays and Deanna Faraone of Vista; his grandchildren, Marissa, Aaliyah, Jayden, Ariel, Ace and Dani; his siblings, Glen Neuburger (Anita) of Hays, Billie Fuller of Salina, Kathleen Morris of Newton, Peggy Waldschmidt of Olathe and Donetta Robben (Lester) of Hays; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Murphy (Donald) of Leavenworth and Sheila Neuburger of Kansas City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
