She was predeceased by: her mother Rosie Urban (Schmidt); her husband Verlin G. Stramel; her father Joseph G. Urban; her daughter-in-law Lynette Stramel; her grandson Brian Stramel; her sister Geraldine Meier (LaVern); her parents-in-law, Stephen M. and Pauline Stramel (Wittman); and her brother-in-law Wilbert Stramel.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Stramel (Rhonda) of Munjor, KS, Eileen Dreher (Terry) of Hays, KS, Cindy Weigel (Bob) of Hays, KS, Kevin Stramel (Pam) of Hays, KS and Wes Stramel (Marie) of Hays, KS. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren;34 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and her five Meier's family nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Cline's-Keithley Mortuary of Hays (1919 E 22nd St, Hays, KS 67601). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (1606 Sarratov St, Pfeifer, KS 67660).
