We announce the death of Donny W. Burlison in Hays, Kansas, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 75. Donny will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donzil Burlison and Reba Burlison (Cash); his wife Sandy; his son Daniel Burlison; and his brother Ricky Burlison.
He is survived by: his sons, Ben Burlison of Osborne and Aaron Burlison (Michelle) of Palco, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Alexa Burlison, Nicholas Burlison and Katelyn Burlison.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home (320 2nd St SW, Plainville, KS 67663). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Red Line Church of God (3804 H Rd, Palco, KS 67657). A burial was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Pleasantview Cemetery - Kansas (598 KS-18, Plainville, KS 67663).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Kansas Honor Flight and may be sent to Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 320 SW 2nd St, Plainville, KS 67663.
