He was predeceased by: his parents, Katie Kroeger (Gashler) and Charles Kroeger; and his wife Darlene Kroeger of Mary's Church. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynette Wasinger (Jerry) of Hays, LouWayne Davidson (Rick) of Hays and Lori Newell (Galen) of Wichita; his grandchildren, Joel Wasinger, Blake Wasinger (Teresa), Ben, Brett, Bryce Davidson, Chris Newell (Kara) and Nicole Mannion (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Maddison, Matthew Wasinger, Owen, Sadie, Kennedy, Hayden Newell, Brayden, Hadley and Avery Mannion.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church (2901 E 13th St, Hays, KS 67601). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery - WaKeeney.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church and/or St. Paul's Church - Crown Point, New Mexico in care of the funeral chapel.
