She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Pfeifer and Catherine Pfeifer (Unrein); her husband Elmer; her grandson Kevin Leighton; her siblings, Agnes Kreutzer, Regina Arnhold, Martina Kreutzer, Alfreda Schmeidler, Wilfred Pfeifer (Jim) and Peter V. Pfeifer; and her son-in-law James S. Fulton, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Kuhn, Cathy Schwartz (Wayne) and Ken Kuhn; her sister Venita Collier (John); and her grandchildren, Tammy Leighton (Norman Ok), Tonya Moddelmog (Fort Collins), Tim Leighton (Charlotte), Lisa Denney, Shelby Koerner (Brent) and Greg Schwartz (Christy). She is also survived by twelve great grand-children and two great great grand-children.
