He is survived by: his children, Madison Hoover and Holden Hoover (Hope); his grandchildren, Bennett, Riggins and Wilma; his sisters, Mary Metz (Bill), Carol Neihardt (Nelson), Connie Sheldon, Sue Hoover and Janet Kuhn (Ed); his sister-in-law Jolene Hoover (Hays); and his nieces and nephews, Alisa Caruthers, Roy Herman, Traci Hoover, Travis Neihardt, Brenna Sherlock, Theresa Griffith, Adam Sheldon, Thomas Zimmerman and Anna Zimmerman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for funeral expenses and may be made payable to Holden Hoover.
