He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Paul and Anna Sack (Brungardt); his sister Carol Meier; his brother-in-law Jerry Burden; and his niece Becky Burden.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce M. Hallum; his children, Gary Sack, Jr. (Maureen) of Warren, MI, Jeff Sack (Angie) of Hays, Janet Ehrlich (Melvin) of Victoria, Susan Rajewski (Bill) of Vincent and Rose Turner (Barton) of Pinellas Park, FL; his sisters, Karen Burden of Lakin, Yvonne Randolph (Rich) of Surprise, AZ and Elaine Sack of Bakersfield, CA; his brother-in-law Joe Meier, Jr. of Bakersfield, CA; his grandchildren, Stephen Sack (Crystal), Danielle Gorham (Chad), Rick Ehrlich, Bobbi Rubeck (Greg), Benjamin Rajewski, Emily Louis, Gary Sack III, Jacob Sack, Dustin Rajewski, Kimberly Sack and Brooke Turner; and his great grandchildren, Noah Sack, Elizabeth Stephenson, Nathaniel and Abigail Rubeck. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
