He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hammerschmidt (Leiker); his son Curt Staab (Beth) of Lansdale, PA; his grandchildren, Ryan, Collin and Trevor; his child Sarabeth Verbeck (Todd) of Wichita; his grandson Cody Verbeck; his son Lyle Hammerschmidt (Abby) of LaCrosse; his grandchildren, Maylee, Bo and Ross Hammerschmidt (Kendra Barnes) of LaCrosse; his great grandchild Amy; his grandchild Abby Stapleton of Hays; his great grandchild Diana; and his brother Dennis Staab (Marla) of Catharine.
