With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gilbert F. Brungardt of Hays, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonaventure Brungardt and Helen Brungardt (Weber); his daughter-in-law Rita Zavora Brungardt; and his siblings, Edwin, Elmer, Sonny, Anthony Brungardt, Angie Kinderknecht, Anna Rita Weber, Clara Walters and Esther Laws.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Brungardt of Hays; his children, Darren Brungardt of Overland Park, Tonya Orth (Marty) of Urbandale and Audra Brungardt of Hays; his grandson Matthew Orth (Theresa Li); and his sister Helen Windholz (Francis) of Victoria. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for the Unify, Beautify, Glorify campaign or for masses.
