With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gracelleen Opal Wertenberger of Hays, Kansas, born in Ottawa, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2024 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ernest and Betty Jean Hollon (Caleb); her husband Donald Alan Wertenberger; her siblings, James, Richard Hollon and Patricia Markley; her granddaughter Robin Colleen Hamilton; and her great grandchild Stormi Rose Isakson.
She is survived by: her children, David Hamilton (Anji) of Norton, Daniel Wertenberger (Sara) of Hays, Caleb Wertenberger of Ellis, Tamera Svanes (Dana) of Kintyre, ND, Robin Lujan (Casey) of Holcomb and Nancy Daniel (Bill) of Elizabeth, CO; and her sister Clio Elrod (Roger) of Pomona. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
