Henry Stramel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Stramel of Hays, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Henry Stramel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Stramel and Elizabeth Stramel (Braun); and his siblings, Alfred, Eleanor, Agnes, Richard and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Cooley (Tracy) of Overland Park, Sharon Obenland of Roeland Park, Laurie Mortinger (Jim) of Hays, Carol Williams of Wichita and Delores Stramel of Hays; and his pet Tucker. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains.
