Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Howard Sloan of Hays, Kansas, born in Norton, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 72, on March 22, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sloan and Anna Sloan (Boyd); his son Abraham Sloan; his siblings, Arthur "Art" Sloan and Dorothy Holmes; his stepson Ethan Mai; his mother-in-law Mabel Gross; and his stepgranddaughter Morgan Mai.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene Dinges (Pfannenstiel) of Hays; his sons, Isaac Sloan (Tracey) of West Jordan, Jacob Sloan (Andrea) of Beloit and Joseph Sloan (Kristen) of Hays; his stepdaughters, Tashia Becker (Robert) of Hays and Tracy Mai of Hays; and his siblings, Iris Kluber of Paola and Kendall Elliott. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.
