She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Newell and Velma Newell (Manny); her husband Don (Nipple); her brother Loren Newell; and her friend Jean Gruse.
She is survived by: her son Adam Napell (Nicole) of Hays; her grandchildren, Callum, Camden, Liam and Jamison; her siblings, Wayne Newell of Hays, Allen Newell of Stilwell, Roger Newell (Kim) of Salina, Joan Peterson of Salina and Cinta Foster of Louisiana; and her goddaughters, Vivian and Gabriella Aubel. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Ellis County Fire Department Company No. 5 or to the CCLJ Education Fund (for her grandchildren).
