He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Riedel and Esther M. Riedel (Befort); and his sister Donna Hill. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gottschalk of Hays; his daughters, Dr. Tonya Knoll (Grady) of Hays and Tara Amador of Great Bend; his grandchildren, Ashley Kirkpatrick (Brennon) of Hays, Chelsea Haskett (Dave) of Hays, Dylan Zimmerman (Tiffany) of Liberal, Shelby Trickle (Dalton) of Hays, Dustin Knoll of Hays, Bree Pickerell of McPherson and Evan Amador of Great Bend; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln Stipe, Colton Stipe, Archer Haskett, Riggins Kirkpatrick and Ledger Haskett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
