She was predeceased by : her parents, William F. Diehl and Bridget Anne Diehl (Jacobs); her husband Douglas O. "Doug" VanLoenen; and her siblings, William "Willie" Diehl, Michael Diehl, Judy Pohlenz, Kristina Schmidt, Jacob Diehl and Kathleen Diehl.
She is survived by : her daughter Melissa Seltmann (Ryan) of Hays, KS; her granddaughter Mallory Grace Seltmann; her sons, Matthew VanLoenen of Hays, KS, Andrew VanLoenen of Kansas City, KS and Jason VanLoenen of Kansas City, KS; and her siblings, Virginia Ekey of Wichita, KS, Janice Krannawitter (Don) of Hays, KS, Ken Diehl (Carol) of Roseville, CA and Karen Swain of Lawrence, KS..
