He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Berscheidt and Pauline Berscheidt (Kimpler); his spouse Trella Ann Scheuerman; his son Michael Berscheidt; and his siblings, Gordon Berscheidt and Connie Kennedy (Kale).
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Schenk (Greg) of Great Bend; his grandchildren, Craig Berscheidt (Anne), Matthew Schenk (Kelci), Aaron Berscheidt (Kayla), Jason Berscheidt (Liz), Jessica Kelly (Cody), Sarah Smith (Jace) and Blake Berscheidt; and his great grandchildren, Colson, Chloe, Callan Kelly, Emma, Layla, Noah Smith and Ella Berscheidt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (1425 S Patton Rd, Great Bend, KS 67530). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (1412 Baker Ave, Great Bend, KS 67530).
