He is survived by: his wife Wanda Thummel (Deges); his stepson John Thyfault (Jessica); his grandsons, Lincoln and Miles Thyfault; and his siblings, Mark Thummel (Melinda), May Munk, Betty Striggow and Mary Jo Thummel.
