With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Randall R. Schmidt of Hays, Kansas, who passed away on July 4, 2023 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred L. and Mary K. Schmidt (House); and his brothers, Mike and Joe Schmidt. He is survived by : his children, Aaron Schmidt (Kara Holland) of Fredericksburg, VA, Dr. Katherine Schmidt of Queens, NY and Lauren Daniels (James) of Glen Allen, VA; his siblings, Larry Schmidt (Melea) of Hays, Dan Schmidt (Connie) of Hays, John Schmidt (Dana) of Hays and Karla Ruder (John) of Plainville; and his grandchildren, Bennett Daniels, Luka Schmidt and Aubrey Daniels. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Catholic Charities of Northern Kansas or to the St. Joseph Food Pantry.
