It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Bieker (Hays, Kansas), who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Bieker to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe M. Pfannenstiel and Sophie Pfannenstiel (Rupp); her husband Marvin J. Bieker; her siblings, Ignatius, Edward Pfannenstiel and Matilda "Tillie" Wittman; and her stepgrandson Jonathan Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Bieker (Joyce) of Sun City, AZ, Keith Bieker (Donna) of Hays, Brenda Stewart (Steve) of Hays and Myra Taylor (John) of Salina; her grandchildren, Blake Bieker (Tricia), Brandy Hatheway (Mike), Kelsey Bieker, Shelby Stewart, Aaron Stewart, Austin Cart and Connor Cart; her stepgrandchildren, Audrea Marciano, Amy Stewart and Tiffany Clark; her great grandchildren, Brady, Jake, Savannah Bieker, Lauren Hatheway, Ashlyn Taylor and Rylie Cart; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Elijah, Asia, Quincy, Jewelysia, Francesco and Giuliana; and her sister-in-law Rose Ann Bieker of Schoenchen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Once restrictions are lifted from the current global pandemic, arrangements will be planned and announced for a celebration of her life, including a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church and a graveside service in St. Anthony Cemetery, Schoenchen.
