He was predeceased by: his parents, Fidelis Karlin and Henrietta Karlin (Staab); his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Karlin and Jan Karlin; and his sister Elaine Giebler.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Von Lintel Karlin; his children, Allen Karlin, Charles "Andy" Karlin, Rob Karlin, Jacque Karlin and Jennifer Karlin; his brothers, Norman Karlin and Bernie Karlin; his grandchildren, Jeff, Marcus, Sarah and Sophi; and his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Lena, Elena and Stella.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Hospice at HaysMed in care of the funeral chapel.
