Thacker of Hays, Kansas, born in Tribune, Kansas, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel (1115 2nd St, Phillipsburg, KS 67661). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church (593 3rd St, Phillipsburg, KS 67661).

“Rod was an unforgettable. I had the pleasure of working with him at Carrico for a couple of years. What a kind man, with a special smile like sunshine and eyes that were full of kindness. If he talked with someone, you could guarantee that he was going to treat that person right. I remember how much he adored his wife and he had a picture of the two of them in his office that I can't help but think about lately.
