He was predeceased by : his father Fred Watson. He is survived by : his mother Elaine Watson (Ingram) of Hays; his children, Travis Watson (Monica) of Hays, Tyler Watson (Crystal) of Manhattan, Stacie Dupree (Devin) of Houston, TX, Heather McMillan of Topeka and Carla McGregor (Mark) of Garden City; his sisters, Deb Rixon (Craig) of McCracken, Leann Hughes (Walter) of Oakley, Janiece Bradstreet (Bill) of Scott City and Vanessa Reed (Henry) of Dighton; his grandchildren, Kirsten Alltop, Christian Dupree, Makenzie Bell, Traeton McMillan, Kenny Bounds, Beaux Watson, Marcayla, Malaya McGregor, Jaycine, Addison, Cayden, Haven and Annistyn Watson; and his great grandchild Deandre Bounds.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (1906 Pine St, Hays, KS 67601). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of the High Plains.
