He is survived by: his brother Deward Bean; his children, Darrin Schmitz (Jenny) of Shawnee, KS, Derrik Schmitz of Hays, KS and Lisa Pease (Joe) of Colorado Springs, CO; and his grandchildren, Savannah, Elijah of Hays, Zachariah of Shawnee, Britney of Wichita, Ashley and Christopher of Colorado Springs.
