She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Hartzell and John Hartzell; and her brother John (Patricia). She is survived by: her significant other Robert Todd Firestone; her children, Mark Andrew (Andrew) and Susan (Doug); her granddaughter Katharine Abdoo (Sean); and her great grandchildren, Brie and Will Abdoo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (215 W 13th St, Hays, KS 67601). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to: The St. Joseph Food Pantry and/or Friends of the Hays Public Library in care of the Funeral Chapel.
