She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Robert, Betty Eakin (Staley) and Wilma Van Wey (Duncan). She is survived by: her parents, Donald Wey and Sandra Van Wey (Eakin); her sister Sabrina Hedding (Van Wey); her nephew Theoden Hedding; and her niece Eowyn Hedding.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Fort Hays Tech Nursing Program and/or The Humane Society of the High Plains, in care of the funeral chapel.
