She was predeceased by: her parents, Bliss VanGundy and Pearl VanGundy (Nelson). She is survived by: her husband Arris; her daughter Pam McGowne of Hays; her grandsons, Jeff McGowne of Kyle and Chris McGowne (Sarah) of Hays; her pets, Sunny and Puffy; her son Mark Johnson; and her siblings, Art, Eugene VanGundy and Dorothy Woodson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
